At my very first concert ever, at 39, I had nothing to compare it with. It was great to hear Stevie Nicks live. I was a little heartbroken when I realized that I wouldn't be watching my idol, Arnez J, perform, but instead staring at an ivy-filled tower. Our seats were horrible! I paid $100 per seat for my husband and myself, and our view was of an ivy-covered tower. If I would have known this would be my view, I could have saved hundreds of dollars by staying home and listening to my iPod. Latecomers really ruined the moment for me by having to be seated during Stevie singing some of my favorite songs. This happened not just once, but 10-12 times. Near our seats, signs said latecomers will be seated during an appropriate time. That wasn't the case for us. After the concert, we got to our car and discovered that the parking lot had this brilliant idea to stack park the cars. We had to wait about an hour to get out of the lot. I am so glad I went to see Stevie and to experience a concert, but I don't think I will be spending my money on another concert anytime soon.
